This sermon will focus on what it means to belong to a community, to a fellowship. How can we see, feel and appreciate why we need one another? What is our common cultural and historical heritage?
We shall take a look at our common interests and the meaning of belonging to a faith, to a place and a to a shared situation. We shall explore how our common affinity suggests and conforms a relationship of meaning.
“We need Joy as we need air.
We need Love as we need water.
We need each other as we need the earth we share.”
– Maya Angelou
This in-person service was held in the sanctuary at the JCSVV. It was recorded and is available for viewing on our YouTube channel. While we discontinued providing recordings of our services last May, we are pursuing alternatives to share our September services online. We encourage you to view them and to provide your comments.
