Join us for 4 consecutive weeks for this series to beheld in cooperation with Church of the Red Rocks. Discussions will be held intheir Painted Cliff Hall at 54 Bowstring Drive. Tuesday dates are Sept. 24, and Oct. 1, 8, and 15 from 3 to 5 p.m. All are welcome.
Facilitators Reverend Anthony Mtuaswa Johnsonand Penny DeJarnette will lead the class using material from the “The GreatCourses.”
There was a time, not too long ago, when talking openly aboutrace was considered in poor taste. Even now, many people feel the topic of raceis better left alone. What if we say something that’s misunderstood? What ifwe’re labeled a racist? Professor Anita Foeman understands those worries.In How to Talk about Race, she gives common-sense guidance andstep-by-step instructions you can employ to develop safe and productivedialogue about race.

Feasts will be the third Saturday of the month, unless otherwise noted* (Oct 19, Nov 23*, Jan 18, Feb 15, Mar 15, Apr 19, May 17).
Anyone can sign up to host; anyone can attend.
Hosts decide the time: breakfast, lunch or dinner AND how manythey can host.
Hosts provide and list their main dish on their signup sheet (can be meat,vegetarian, vegan, etc.) Guests contribute the side dishes.
Hosts will receive asignup sheet with their name, address, contact information and spaces for thenumber they can host to sign up. We’ll need 3-4 hosts each month. Contact Suzanne to let her know which month(s) is available for you to host!
The signup sheet willbe taken by the host (or designee) to church and displayed so that those whowish to attend can sign up at church. They may also contact the host by phone oremail to sign up.
