The Call of The Elder

Reading: “Stepping into our Wisdom as Elders” by Malidoma Somé

“It’s important that we step into our wisdom as elders and better understand why we need rituals for initiating people into elderhood.” As Malidoma Somé says, “Where ritual is absent, the young ones are restless or violent, there are no real elders, and the grown-ups are bewildered. Where there are no true Elders, the future is dim.”
