Poetry as a Spiritual Practice – 2.0

“Poetry may make us a little more aware of the deeper, unnamed feelings which form the substratum of our being, to which we rarely penetrate, for our lives are mostly a constant evasion of ourselves,” so wrote T.S. Eliot. We are pleased to offer another worship service which will focus upon naming and claiming our feelings through our own poetic words and the poetic words of others as a spiritual practice, that is, as a recognition of our inner feelings as expressions of who we really are.

This in-person service will take place in the sanctuary at the JCSVV. It will be recorded and available for later viewing on our YouTube channel. Please revisit this posting the weekend following the service in order to obtain the YouTube link.
