Drawing on the profound teachings of Malidoma Somé, a West African spiritual teacher and author, this service will explore the concept of Gatekeepers — those who stand at the threshold between the visible and invisible worlds, guiding and protecting the community. In Somé’s indigenous Dagara tradition, Gatekeepers hold a sacred role, helping us navigate the mysteries of life, death, and the spiritual realms. According to Dr. Somé, not all Gatekeepers are same gender loving people, but all same gender loving people are potential Gatekeepers.
