Times, like these, of great uncertainty and upheaval can provide a climate of reflection that calls us to ask ourselves what contributions may the ancient spiritual wisdom of indigenous people make to our understanding of ourselves and of our world?
We shall explore that question in this week’s talk and presentation centered on Native American and African spiritual traditions. Indigenous spiritualities are holistic. They encompass, at their most basic level, a universal belief in survival and triumph over death and the immortality of the human soul.
