Today’s guest speaker is Jen Emmerich. She is originally from Toronto, has lived in the US for 25 years, and began her career in mental health at an early age. In the past she was the director of a non-profit for sexually abused and neglected children, and worked as a volunteer in Romania with children who were HIV positive. She began private practice in Michigan in 2005. Just before her move to Arizona in 2017, she taught at a local university and worked in their health clinic. She specializes in bariatric weight loss, eating disorders, trauma, personality disorders, and gender identity.
