As we continue our break from in-person services, we hope that you are enjoying the holidays. There is not a specific service planned for this Sunday, but there are plenty of virtual services available in our YouTube library for you to view and enjoy, as we near the end of this holiday weekend and the holiday season and begin a New Year. Here are just a few suggestions, especially if you feel in need of a little more spirit of the season.
SUUF Service 11/29/20 “Praise It!” with Rev. Robin Zucker
SUUF Service 12/6/20 “Wax, Wick & Kerosene” with Rev. Robin Zucker
SUUF Service 12/20/20 “The Perfect Imperfection of Charlie Brown’s Christmas Tree” with Rev. Robin Zucker
SUUF Service 12/27/20 “Celebrate Kwanzaa” with Rev. Anthony Johnson (in case you missed it when we offered it again last Sunday 12/26/21).
Our SUUF Service for last New Year’s weekend (01/03/21) “Resilience and Possibility in 2021” featured Rabbi Alicia Magal as our guest speaker. That service was conducted live on Zoom, and unfortunately wasn’t recorded for later viewing. However, you may wish to revisit the text of her inspirational words, which she graciously provided to us afterwards by visiting the posting for that day’s service.
The recording of our most recent in-person service from Sunday, December 19: “Living With Intention” with Reverend Anthony Johnson is also available, if you couldn’t join us in person that day – or even if you did – and provides more inspiration for the year ahead.
You may visit our YouTube channel to view any of our past services.
We plan to resume our in-person services on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the JCSVV Sanctuary.
