Patty Delp, our guest speaker for this Sunday, will discuss the importance of our being a welcoming fellowship, the vital need for safe spaces, inclusion and acceptance of diverse populations and the impact of microaggressions and myths on the LGBTQIA community, and especially on our youth.
Patty is a SUUF member, and director of Yavapai County Youth Advocate Programs, Inc (YAP). She’s also “a mother, grandmother, out-and-proud lesbian, advocate, educator, coach, counselor,
restorative justice facilitator, survivor of emotional abuse and trauma and is passionate about social justice issues for all youth…” Besides all of those qualifications, she’s charming, smart, and a real joy to be with!
