Friendly Feasts are such fun—food, friendship, and frivolity–all in oneevening! They build community by getting to know other SUUFers over food andconversation. 

Anyone can attend a Friendly Feast throughout the year –you do not have to be a host in return! 

Hosting means providing a main course and asking the attendees to bring sidedishes. The number of people is determined by you, usually between 4-6 otherfolks. Feasts can be breakfast, lunch, or dinner – whatever works best for you. 

This month’s Feasts takes place on Saturday, May 17. Having 3 hosthouses per month is ideal. There is still one more opening for a host housein May, and we are now opening up June to accommodate more Friendly Feasts. 

It is easy to sign up as a host or an attendee in the lobby on Sundays. Attendee signup sheets usually appearat the beginning of each month for that month’s Feasts.

SUUF Annual Congregational Meeting will take place in the sanctuary immediately following our Sunday service.

This annual meeting brings members together to vote on next year’s operatingbudget, elect Board of Trustees and Committee Members, as specified in our bylaws.

The May/ June book selection is Love at the Center by UUA president Sofia Betancourt.

Join the group at 2345 Corral Rd., home of the McCaffreys. The 4 sessions will be facilitated by Rev. Anthony. We will meet on the following Mondays from 10:30 am-12 noon:  May 5, May 19, June 9 and June 30. 

A signup sheet is available in the lobby before and after Sunday service to join and to get personal reminders. Books are available on the UUA website and Amazon. Get yours early to prepare in advance

Women’s Lunches are generally held monthly on the 3rd Wednesday at noon, although this is subject to change, so please watch for other announcements.  

Gather with the other women this month on Wednesday, May 21st at JuniperBar & Grill in the Sedona Golf Resort, in the VOC. It’s fun to see friends andenjoy good conversation over lunch. Participation through Zoom is generally available. Please contact the host if you wish to be included via Zoom for any given meeting. In that case, you may click here to join the meeting.

Coffee and tea is generally available for folks who wish to stay and socialize after Service unless otherwise indicated. Volunteers are welcome to help make coffee and clean-up afterwards. We will use the Social Hall at JCSVV when possible; otherwise please join us in the lobby.
