We all have experienced the presence of Beauty and the sight of something Beautiful.\u00a0There is also a beauty inside of each of us that we carry. The philosopher Blaise Pascal reminds us \u201cin difficult times, carry something beautiful in your heart.\u201d \u00a0During these times of tumult, we all require courage, commitment, hope and self-love. Every one of these is sustained by beauty. We can withstand dehumanization and create real social change when we carry beauty in our hearts, because when we carry beauty, it carries us.<\/p>\n
