{"id":7658,"date":"2024-01-05T12:00:32","date_gmt":"2024-01-05T19:00:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sedonauu.org\/wordpress\/?p=7658"},"modified":"2025-06-07T11:11:52","modified_gmt":"2025-06-07T18:11:52","slug":"uu-welcomes-multi-faith-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sedonauu.org\/wordpress\/news\/blog\/uu-welcomes-multi-faith-people\/","title":{"rendered":"We Welcome Multi-faith People [#85]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Sedona Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (SUUF) includes individuals and families from varied religious backgrounds.<\/p>\n<p>Rather than fear that differences in belief will be divisive, SUUF is confident that such differences strengthen their spiritual community.<\/p>\n<p>Among their members are individuals and couples whose beliefs combine elements of Buddhist-Jewish, Atheist-Christian, Hindu-Muslim, Catholic-Methodist, Agnostic-Modern Pagan, and Taoist-Humanist traditions.\u00a0 All feel comfortable within Unitarian Universalism because they are united in envisioning and fostering a more just and compassionate society.<\/p>\n<p>For example, Alison\u00a0(Christian-Jewish) says, \u201cGrowing up in the open-hearted and open-minded setting of Unitarian Universalism, I felt the absence of judgment.
