They also believe that religious wisdom evolves over time.\u00a0 Human understanding of life and death, the world and its mysteries, is never final.\u00a0 Revelation, insights, and discoveries are ongoing.\u00a0 UUs celebrate and study the unfolding truths revealed to teachers, sages, and scientists over time.<\/p>\n
They affirm the worth of all people, recognize that people have different opinions and lifestyles, and honor those differences.<\/p>\n
They seek to act as a moral force in the world, believing that ethical living is the supreme witness of religion. The effects of their actions in the here and now, and on future generations deeply concern them.\u00a0 They want their relationships with one another, and with diverse peoples, races, and nations, to be governed by justice, equity, and compassion.<\/p>\n
