Each has valuable views to offer about humanity and our life in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, UU\u2019s keep their minds open regarding the religious questions people have struggled with in all times and places.<\/p>\n<p>For themselves, UUs regard personal experience, conscience, and reason to be the best filters of religious claims. not a particular book or person or institution.\u00a0 They explore religious beliefs within their own hearts, minds, and souls.<\/p>\n<p>They also believe that religious wisdom evolves over time.\u00a0 Human understanding of life and death, the world and its mysteries, is never final.\u00a0 Revelation, insights, and discoveries are ongoing.\u00a0 UUs celebrate and study the unfolding truths revealed to teachers, sages, and scientists over time.<\/p>\n<p>They affirm the worth of all people, recognize that people have different opinions and lifestyles, and honor those differences.<\/p>\n<p>They seek to act as a moral force in the world, believing that ethical living is the supreme witness of religion.
