Some believe that a group with the inclusive name \u201cSedona Unitarian Universalist Fellowship\u201d must have only a vague or undefined set of ideas.<\/p>\n

While SUUF is uniquely open-minded and big-hearted, it has a direction that unifies its members.\u00a0 SUUF affirms and promotes seven basic Principles–its cherished values and moral guides.<\/p>\n

These Principles aren’t presented as dogma or doctrine\u2014instead, they serve as helpful guides for people who choose to live in a just and kind way on our precious planet.\u00a0 The SUUF Principles support:<\/p>\n

  1. The inherent worth and dignity of every person;<\/li>\n
  2. Justice, equity, and compassion in human relations;<\/li>\n
  3. Acceptance of one another and encouragement to share spiritual growth;<\/li>\n
  4. Each individual’s free and responsible search for truth and meaning;<\/li>\n
  5. The use of democratic processes within our congregations and in society at large;<\/li>\n
  6. The vision of a world community with peace, liberty and justice for all; and<\/li>\n
  7. Respect for the interdependent web of all existence, of which we are a part.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
