Honoring the arrival of our Fall Season, I offer the following self-reflecting poem as an invitation to all to submit your original poems and\/or poems you love to me at <a href=\"mailto:minister@sedonauu.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>minister@sedonauu.org<\/strong><\/a>. We will feature as many as we can during our November 14th Sermon entitled \u201cPoetry As A Spiritual Practice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Sinner in Winter<\/strong><br \/>\nI am a sinner in winter<br \/>\nA \u2018wanna be angel in Fall,<br \/>\nFalling free form<br \/>\nShaped like a snowflake<br \/>\nFloating like a dream.<br \/>\nDreaming of a place with no race<br \/>\nHeart open, eyes with no face.<br \/>\nFacing a wall of red stone,<br \/>\nClimbing on top of Ancestor Bone.<\/p>\n<p>Boning up on babble,<br \/>\nMasquerading as Truth,<br \/>\nFull of Contempt.<br \/>\nI am a sinner in winter,<br \/>\nyou too,<br \/>\nNobody\u2019s exempt!<br \/>\nFalling free form,<br \/>\nShaped like a snowflake<br \/>\nFloating like a dream.<br \/>\nDreaming of a place with no race<br \/>\nHeart open, eyes with no face.<br \/>\nFacing a wall of red stone,<br \/>\nClimbing on top of Ancestor bone.<br \/>\nBoning up on babble,<br \/>\nMasquerading as truth,<br \/>\nFull of Contempt.<br \/>\nI am a sinner in winter,<br \/>\nyou too,<br \/>\nNobody\u2019s exempt!<br \/>\nAhh&#8217;, but spring will arrive<br \/>\nWhen winter crumbles.<br \/>\nLeaving traces of what will come,<br \/>\nBeliefs we thought were so real<br \/>\nTurn out to be bubble gum.<br \/>\nIn a wrapper,<br \/>\nDressed oh so dapper,<br \/>\nMimicking the original call.<br \/>\nMe, I\u2019m just a sinner in Winter,<br \/>\nA \u2018wanna be angel in Fall.<br \/>\n<b>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0&#8211; Rev.
