Worship\u00a0creates connections within, among, and beyond us, calling us to our better selves, calling us to live with wisdom and compassion.<\/p>\n<p>At Sedona Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, our worship is generally contemporary in music and style.<\/p>\n<p>Elements of a typical Sunday morning\u00a0worship service include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Words of welcome<\/li>\n<li>Lighting a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sedonauu.org\/wordpress\/about-us\/our-stories\/our-symbol-the-flaming-chalice\/\">flaming chalice<\/a>, the symbol of our faith<\/li>\n<li>A multigenerational segment, such as a \u201cstory for all ages\u201d<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/sedonauu.org\/wordpress\/worship\/music-and-choir\/\">Music<\/a>, both instrumental and vocal and in a variety of styles<\/li>\n<li>A time for lifting up the joys and concerns of the congregation<\/li>\n<li>A meditation or prayer<\/li>\n<li>Readings\u2014ancient or contemporary<\/li>\n<li>A sermon given by a professional minister, a guest speaker, or a member of the congregation<\/li>\n<li>An offering, collecting financial donations for the congregation or for justice work in the community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We hope you will join us Sunday mornings at 10 am.<\/p>\n<hr style=\"border-top: 2px solid #000000;\" \/>\n<p><b>In-person services and activities were suspended beginning in March 2020 due to Covid-19 safety restrictions. We resumed modified in-person services in September 2021.
